GP Practice

A small General Practice in the West Midlands were left with no Practice Nursing Cover since their last Practice Nurse Left at short notice due to ill-health.
The new nurse had no previous practice experience and had been booked onto a local University Course- Fundamentals of Practice Nursing. This course did not start for another 5 months, and they asked if we (M A Training) could offer training to upskill her as soon as possible to enable the practice to continue offering Phlebotomy, Childhood immunisations, vitamin B12 injections and clinics for people with long term conditions.
M A Training Enterprise delivered a Bespoke induction package, part online and part face-to-face. This was delivered within 8 weeks and included training and assessment with competencies to complete.
The Practice gave excellent feedback stating that this had prevented them from getting behind with patient care and QOF.

Local PCN

A local PCN were employing paramedics and pharmacists and Physicians associates to deploy into the general practices in their area. They needed training around minor illness and working in General Practice which is so different to their normal roles.
They approached MA Training because they had problem identifying and commissioning appropriate training.
We delivered Paediatric/Adult and muscular skeletal accredited Diploma’s online.
They are now taking their own clinics.

Local GP Practice

A local GP practice who had received training from us before needed their receptionist trained for phlebotomy as soon as possible. Their Practice Nurse was taking blood now but was needed for Chronic Disease Management.
The practice manager contacted us to see if we could help.
A bespoke course was put together as a hybrid- online and face to face.
Amazing feedback from training.
