L3 – Bronchiolitis

Bronchiolitis is another common seasonal viral LRTI affecting young children, especially those under 2 years old. Up to a third of children will have an episode of bronchiolitis in their first year of life. It is most often caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The cough can last for anything from 1 to 6 weeks.
