Don’t forget these are real life cases, not textbook demonstrations.
We would encourage you to use these cases as a basis for discussion with a mentor, supervisor, colleague or even another learner on this course. We want you to identify the main issues in each case.
This could include your working clinical diagnosis but this is not essential as you may sometimes find the focus is more on other issues raised by the case.
You might want to include notes about how you would manage each case, or just what the management challenges might be. Or you might focus on other issues raised. You may just want to note inconsistencies you have found, or any problems or queries you have about the case. We are not looking for a “right answer” but rather evidence of your thoughts, observations and any discussions you have with your colleagues.
