Learning outcomes

The purpose of Section 1 is to;

• Refresh your knowledge of long-term conditions as well as understanding what we mean when we talk about long-term conditions in this course.

• Help you to understand the incidence of long-term conditions and how this can impact on the patient, the NHS, and you.

• Through experiential learning understand the problems that people with long-term conditions experience.

• Observe and critically evaluate consultations.
